Newborn Screenings: Birth- 2 Years

Baby
Newborn screening is preformed in the hospital after birth to identify infants affected with certain genetic or newborn conditions.  Referrals to the health department are initiated when abnormal or unsatisfactory newborn screening tests require follow-up services or when the family of the child diagnosed with NBS disorder needs assistance.  Click here for our clinic locations and phone numbers.

  • Phenylketonuria
  • Sickle Cell Disease
